The TAFISA World Congress is the flagship event of the global Sport for All movement - a vibrant, dynamic gathering that brings together participants from across the world to discuss, debate, and shape the future of sport and physical activity for all. Congresses have been held across six continents since 1991, and each edition reflects the unique culture and energy of its host city and nation.

Upcoming TAFISA World Congress

The 30th TAFISA World Congress will be held in Gaborone, Botswana, 17 - 21 October 2027, hosted by the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC). The congress will mark a long-awaited return to Africa, the continent last welcomed the event in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2001, and represents an exciting opportunity to strengthen the Sport for All movement across the African region and beyond. 29th TAFISA World Congress 2026 - THANK YOU!

The 29th TAFISA World Congress took place in Prague, Czech Republic, from 13 to 17 May 2026 under the theme "Sport for All: Building Bridges for Inclusion, Equity, and Harmony".

Bringing together more than 250 participants from 70 countries, alongside 98 speakers and moderators, the Congress served as a global platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

A sincere thank you to all participants, speakers, moderators, partners, and volunteers whose contributions made this Congress such a memorable and impactful gathering. We also extend our deepest appreciation to the Czech Sokol Organization for their exceptional hospitality and commitment as host of the event.
